At Annie the Doula (“I”, “me”, “my”), I take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information I collect, how I use it, and your rights.
I am the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

The only personal information I collect directly from you is what you choose to share with me through my contact form, such as:
Your name
Your email address
Your message or enquiry
I also use Squarespace Analytics, which collects limited, anonymous information about how visitors use my website (such as page views and general visitor numbers). This data doesn’t personally identify you.
3. How I use your information
I use the information you send me through the contact form only to respond to your enquiry or follow up on your request.
I don’t use your details for marketing or share them with anyone outside Annie the Doula, except as necessary to operate our website (see below).
4. How your data is stored and shared
My website is hosted on Squarespace, which processes form submissions and stores data securely on its servers. Squarespace may process data outside the UK, but it uses recognised legal safeguards under UK GDPR to protect your information.
I don’t sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone else.
5. How long I keep your data
I keep contact form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted from my systems unless I need to keep them longer for business or legal reasons (for example, if you become a client).
6. Cookies and analytics
I use Squarespace Analytics to understand how visitors use my site. This may involve cookies or similar technologies that collect anonymous usage information. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings if you prefer.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you
Ask me to correct or delete your information
Withdraw your consent (if I ever rely on it)
